Dupont earnings, revenue top expectations

Dupont (Euronext Paris: DPT-FR) on Tuesday reported third-quarter earnings and revenue that beat analysts' estimates.

The company posted earnings excluding items of 34 cents a share on revenue of $4.917 billion.

Analysts polled by Reuters had expected Dupont to report earnings of 21 cents a share on revenue of $4.870 billion.

Dupont also raised its full-year guidance to an adjusted $3.25 a share from previous forecasts of $3.15 to $3.20 a share.
