Cargill pledges to remove all trans-fat from oil products

Cargill Inc. said Monday it has committed to remove all industrially produced trans-fatty acids (iTFAs) from its food oil products. The effort will allow Cargill and its customers to comply with the World Health Organization's recommended standard of a maximum two grams of industrially produced trans-fatty acids (iTFA) per 100 grams fats/oils by the end of 2023, the company said.
