Five Former Memphis Police Officers Face Murder Charges in Tyre Nichols’s Death
Five former Memphis, Tenn., police officers were arrested and charged with second-degree murder Thursday in the death of Tyre Nichols, a Black man who died after a traffic stop earlier this month. The five former officers were fired by the police department last week following an internal investigation into Mr. Nichols’s death.
