Trump: 'We have some bad hombres and we're going to get them out'
Donald Trump said Wednesday that if he becomes president, he will make it a priority to remove "bad, bad people" from the United States.
Speaking at the third and final presidential debate, Trump upheld his idea to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, citing illegal immigration and the influx of drugs to the United States as national security issues.
"We're going to secure the border, and once the border is secured at a later date, we'll make a determination as to the rest," Trump said. "But we have some bad hombres here and we're going to get them out."
"Right now, we're getting the drugs, they're getting the cash," the Republican nominee said, adding that he would not grant amnesty to illegal immigrants.
Trump contended that the United States is "a country of laws," and that those seeking to become citizens will have the right to do so legally.
"We have millions of people. ... They're in line, they're waiting to become citizens. Very unfair that somebody runs across the border [and] becomes a citizen," Trump said.
