The U.K. Reopening Trade Has Run Out of Steam. Here’s Where It Hasn’t.

U.K.-listed travel and leisure stocks have had a terrific run. Between November 2020, when U.S. drug company (PFE)announced its first results from a Covid-19 vaccine trial, and March, the U.K. travel and leisure sector outperformed the FTSE All-Shares index by more than 30%. The reopening trade still has further to run in Continental Europe, say strategists at U.K. broker Liberum Capital.
