Why GameStop Stock Just Popped a Lucky 7.7%

Monday is looking like a lucky day to own GameStop (NYSE: GME). First Telsey Advisory Group upgraded GameStop shares to an outperform with a $10 price target, reports TheFly.com today, and then Jefferies upgraded the shares to buy with an $8 target or higher. This year will see the release of new gaming consoles from both Microsoft (the Xbox Series X) and Sony (the PlayStation5), possibly as soon as early November.
