J.R.'s Stockyards Inn, the Tysons banquet facility off Chain Bridge Road and Leesburg Pike in the heart of Tysons, has served up its last meal. The venue closed earlier this year, and its home at 8130-8134 Watson St. sold Dec. 28 for $15.5 million, according to Fairfax County land records. The buyer, AM Tysons LLC, appears to be an affiliate of Macerich (NYSE: MAC), the publicly traded owner of neighboring Tysons Corner Center mall.
