Suspect Arrested in Fatal Stabbing of Washington, D.C., Jogger

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in the attack on a woman who was stabbed to death while she was jogging in Washington, D.C. Wendy Karina Martinez, 35, suffered multiple stab wounds to the neck when she was attacked in the trendy neighborhood of Logan Circle on Tuesday night. Members of the public tried to provide help after she stumbled bleeding into a Chinese takeout restaurant, but she later died after being transported to a hospital. Suspect Anthony Crawford was taken into custody Wednesday evening, and has since been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, according to CBS News.
