While the Boeing Co. is standing behind a plan to boost 737 MAX production in the near term, its CEO warned Wednesday that supply constraints could begin to impact plans by the second half of next year. “We are making important progress,” Boeing’s (NYSE: BA) David Calhoun said on an earnings call. It would be the aircraft’s highest production rate since late 2019, after it was grounded earlier that year following two crashes.
