Republican Sen. Josh Hawley this week introduced a bill that would prevent members of Congress from owning or trading shares. Democrats decided not to vote on a plan that would stop share trading among lawmakers before the midterm elections last year. Hawley, who represents Missouri, used the title of his bill to take a swipe at former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
