North Carolina governor issues strong response to NBA pulling All-Star Game

On Wednesday, the NBA officially announced that the league is removing the 2017 All-Star Game from Charlotte, N. C. after the controversial anti-LGBT law 'HB2" was upheld in the state. Following the news that the NBA is relocating it's marquee midseason event, North Carolina governor Pat McCrory issued a terse statement admonishing the liberal media and sports and entertainment elite for misinterpreting the law. “The sports and entertainment elite, Attorney General Roy Cooper and the liberal media have for months misrepresented our laws and maligned the people of North Carolina simply because most people believe boys and girls should be able to use school bathrooms, locker rooms and showers without the opposite sex present.
