Why Chinese Education Stocks Rebounded Today
Shares of Chinese education stocks bounced back sharply in early trading on Wednesday as companies try to adjust to new regulations from China's government. There are still more questions than answers about what the growth and profitability of the industry looks like, but for now, the sell-off of the last week is taking a breather. New Oriental Education & Technology Group (NYSE: EDU) jumped as much as 15.5% in early trading and is now up 6.8% for the day.
