STORY: Thousands celebrated the “Year of the Dragon” with traditional lion and dragon dances, vibrant music, and firecrackers.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul and United States Senator Chuck Schumer also participated in the Lunar New Year celebrations.
“Happy New Year everybody! Let’s hear it for the great Chinese American community," Schumer chanted to the crowd.
