Not all celebrity kids become models. For instance, Luke Perry’s 19-year-old son, Jack, prefers the ring to the runway.
Jack, who’s known as “Jungle Boy” Nate Coy in the wrestling world, threw down in L.A. over the weekend as part of the Underground Empire Wrestling’s show called “F*** the World.” (Just rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it?)
Video of the event shows an audience that’s small but features serious star power, thanks to Jungle Boy’s famous pop. Luke, now 50 (!), sat in the back of the bleachers most of the time, like all the cool kids do, and captured all the action on camera.
Meanwhile, the younger Perry rocked long, curly locks — the kind that would have been pretty cool back in Luke’s Beverly Hills, 90210 days! — and a face that Dylan McKay fans will love. (Luke’s ex-wife, Rachel “Minnie” Sharp, is the mother of Jack and Luke’s 16-year-old daughter, Sophie.)
Later this month, Luke will step back in front of the camera as part of the cast of the CW’s Archie Comics series Riverdale. He’ll play Archie’s dad in the show but, hey, we always have 90210 reruns.
