Luke Bryan Takes a Swing at Heckler After Being Taunted During Concert

Luke Bryan took a swing at a spectator while performing in Nashville Wednesday night.

The country star, 40, appeared to hit a man in the face while singing his single “Move” at the Charlie Daniels’ All-Star Volunteer Jam, a concert and charity event which helps raise money for U.S. veterans.

Right before the incident, Bryan can be heard telling the audience member — who was apparently taunting him — to “come on.” According to Rolling Stone, at least two men were involved in the spat, including one who was waving a sign reading, “We can see your camel toe” — a dig at Bryan’s famously tight jeans.

“A man in the front row was making crude hand gestures toward Luke during his performance. It was insulting not only to him, but more importantly to the men, women and families sitting around him who were there to support and celebrate Charlie Daniels and the efforts of raising money for the military veterans — some of who were in the audience,” Bryan’s rep tells PEOPLE.

“The concert security personnel saw the man’s disruptive actions of the event and he was escorted out.”
