LSU RB Lanard Fournette, brother of Leonard Fournette, arrested for using false ID
LSU running back Lanard Fournette was arrested Monday for allegedly being caught using false identification at a casino.
According to The Advocate, Fournette, the younger brother of former LSU star and recent first round NFL draft selection Leonard Fournette, was shown on security cameras at L’Auberge Casino in Baton Rouge playing craps. After playing for 16 minutes, the 20-year-old tried to cash out, this time using his real ID.

Security video showed Fournette playing at a “craps table” for 16 minutes at about 1:30 p.m., before walking to the player’s services counter. Fournette then allegedly presented his real ID to the cashier for a cash withdrawal, who determined his age and contacted security.
Fournette was detained at the casino, but left before an officer’s arrival, police said. When being questioned, Fournette said he used another person’s ID to enter the casino, according to police.

Per WBRZ, the alleged incident took place on Saturday afternoon around 2 p.m. Fournette, who is facing unlawful use of a state issued identification and gaming prohibited for persons under 21 charges, was booked on $1,000 bond.
The younger Fournette arrived at LSU as a part of its 2015 class, a year after Leonard enrolled and made an instant impact for the Tigers. Lanard Fournette redshirted in 2015 and played in three games in 2016, rushing for 13 yards on five attempts. He also had one tackle on special teams.
