LSU basketball loses its 11th player to transfer portal leaving no returnees for Matt McMahon

LSU basketball forward Mwani Wilkinson has entered the transfer portal, according to On3 Sports.

Wilkinson, a sophomore, started in 30 games for the Tigers, averaging four points and three rebounds. He also averaged 24.2 minutes per game and started in 24 games as a freshman.

At 6-foot-5 and 206 pounds, Wilkinson was a four-star recruit and the No. 75 prospect in the nation, according to 247Sports Composite. He is a Las Vegas native who attended Bishop Gorman.

Wilkinson is the 11th player to enter the transfer portal from LSU this offseason, meaning that new coach Matt McMahon will not have any scholarship players projected to return to the Tigers.

McMahon, who was the coach at Murray State, was hired on March 24 after Will Wade was fired after LSU received a Notice of Allegations from the NCAA.
