Low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines to add Denver-Detroit flights starting in February

DENVER - Spirit Airlines plans to add service between Denver and Detroit next year.

Starting Feb. 14, the carrier plans to offer flights between the cities every day except for Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Daily flights between the cities are scheduled to begin March 1.

Spirit started offering flights to and from Denver International Airport in May.
