Tommy Fury has announced a new career move away from the ring with the news that he has written his first book.

The professional boxer and former Love Island contestant took to Instagram this week to confirm that his new book, Lightning Can Strike Twice, will be released in October.

Tommy shared a promo video featuring some footage from his photoshoot for the upcoming biography's front cover, which he captioned: "I’m proud to announce… I have written my first book!"

He continued: "Find out what my life is like juggling many identities: A professional boxer, TV star, mental health advocate, fiancé and father. Coming this October, but available to pre-order now…link on my story!"

"So proud of you," Molly-Mae Hague, who is engaged to Tommy and shares a one-year-old daughter named Bambi with him, commented on the post.

Molly-Mae released her first book, Becoming Molly-Mae, in 2022. In the book, the star "unravels herself completely for the first time to open up about how she nurtured her creativity from a young age, took ownership of her body image, battle self-doubt and built a happy life".

Away from their careers, Molly-Mae recently shared some details about where she and Tommy want to tie the knot.

"We're currently in the talks of looking for a church to get married at, because we definitely do want to get married in the UK in a traditional Catholic church," she explained in her YouTube vlog.

"So if anyone knows any beautiful churches, Catholic churches in Cheshire, because I think we want to do Cheshire because that's where we live obviously, or maybe London as well."
