Love Island star Sophie Piper has declared her love for Josh Ritchie in a tribute for his birthday.

The pair coupled up in the inaugural series of Love Island: All Stars, which saw past contestants return to the villa for another shot at finding love.

Sophie and Josh hit it off straight away before eventually finishing in third place, and their relationship has gone on strong since leaving the vill. Sophie wrote a heartfelt message on Instagram to celebrate Josh’s 30th birthday today (May 21).

“Happiest of birthdays to my favourite person ❤️” she began, accompanying a photo of the pair celebrating with some drinks. “Still can’t get my head around not knowing you less than 4 months ago and now I can’t imagine life without you!

“I love being your best friend and I’m so lucky I get to laugh with you everyday 🫶🏽Your the kindest soul and thank you for continuing to make me the happiest I’ve ever been. Love you always💫”

Josh, who had previously appeared on the first season of the ITV show, responded to the post, writing: “Thankyou love you ❤️ Finally after can stop celebrating my birthday I’ve aged 10 years with amount I’ve drank last two weeks hahah love you ❤️❤️”

The comment section was also filled with messages from fans and former co-stars, with fellow All Stars Islander Eve Gale sending her congratulations. This Morning presenter Rochelle Humes, Sophie's sister, also sent a message, writing: “Happy birthday Josh ❤️”

While Sophie and Josh are still loved up, All Stars co-star Georgia Harrison recently reflected on her love life following her split from Anton Danyluk, saying: “I'm not manifesting a man. I clearly don’t do dating very well,

“I’ve done enough dating shows and they never seem to work out for me. I’m at a stage in my life where I literally just want to concentrate on what does work well for me. I am genuinely at the point where I don’t need a man to be happy. Maybe that isn’t my purpose in life.”

Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
