The donation to the organization is part of the annual “Share the Love” event, where Subaru of America and Giles Automotive donate to charities that make a huge impact on their community. Each Year, a donation is made to Dreams Come True of Louisiana, an organization dedicated to letting children with life threatening illness live their dream.

This year’s donations is one of the largest ever with Giles and Subaru of America giving $22,000. “Well, you know, you can only imagine what it’s like to have a child with a life threatening illness and to be able to support dreams come true that grant wishes to those children and to know that we’re just a small part of that is very important to us to be able to do that,” says Bob Giles.

With the huge contribution, Executive Director of Dreams Come True of Louisiana Becky Prejean says the organization looks forward to continuing to give hope to the children they service. “We’re granting 60 to 70 dreams a year. We don’t have a quantity. As they qualify, we grant. They’re just so excited because we bring sunshine into their lives. And the dream is considered with all the entire family,” says Trahan.
