Louisiana OMV issues reminder for vehicle registration renewals after mailing error
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Officials with the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles have issued a reminder for residents regarding registration renewals for certain vehicles.
According to a news release, trucks and trailers with an expiration date of Sunday, June 30, 2024, cannot be processed until Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
“This was due to a vendor prematurely mailing out vehicle registration renewal invitations for approximately 100,000 trucks and trailers,” said the OMV.
