Lotto scratcher player in Ridgecrest wins $1 million: CA Lottery

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A lucky lotto player in Ridgecrest was able to turn $10 into $1 million, California Lottery officials said.

Five people across California won $1 million or more on scratcher games, including Tonya Powell, who won $1 million on a $10 Xtreme Multiplier scratcher bought from a Fastrip on China Lake Boulevard in Ridgecrest, the California Lottery said in a release.

One player won $2 million from a $20 Instant Prize Crossword scratcher purchased in San Jose.
