Lots of sunshine and warmth for the weekend

The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast from Storm Team 5…

We did feature more clouds then sun and even a few small hail producing rain showers popped up during the early afternoon hours. The big story today has been the winds, streaming in out of the NW gusting to 30 to upwards of 45 mph. For tonight though, winds will ease back a lot and clouds and any shower activity will depart, leaving clear skies and temperatures down to the mid 30s.

Tomorrow starts what will be the nicest three day stretch of weather we’ve had in a little while. Mainly sunny skies arrive as high pressure drifts overhead and that will help keep the winds lighter then today to only around 5-15mph. Highs for your Saturday will reach the mid 60s.

We are however, watching a quick moving system that could bring a rain shower up north Saturday night after midnight, but this will not be around for Sunday morning. Most will stay quiet, but temperatures only fall to around 50 for overnight lows.

With that mild of and overnight low, that’s a sign of very warm air for Sunday. High temperatures will reach the upper 60s to even low to mid 70s away from the water with once again mainly sunny skies.

Monday will return to the 70s for a few spots, but we are tracking a few hit or miss evening rain showers. The best chance for rain for all comes Tuesday and lasting through Thursday.
