South Shore has 4 of the best burger joints around, new survey says
The South Shore is home to some of the best burgers in the state, according to a new survey.
The list was compiled by the group Taste of Massachusetts, which started with over 1,000 people nominating their favorite spots for burgers, according to its website. From there, the list was whittled down to 220 nominees.
"Over 5,000 voters took part in this process, and we can’t think of a better way to ensure you know where to go for your burger fix," an explanation accompanying the list said. "After four rounds of some very close voting, we finally have our Sweet 16 and our winner chosen by you!"
The top honor went to Lewis’ Bar and Grill in Norwood.
