Los Alamos planning emergency preparedness exercise for May 22
LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (KRQE) – The county and the national lab are planning a joint emergency preparedness exercise. The event will be on Wednesday, May 22.
The exercise will start at 9:00 a.m. and will last approximately five hours, the county says. During that time, the public may see emergency vehicles on roads and workers in protective equipment running simulated drills.

County services, including emergency and public safety services, will not be impacted by the exercise, the county says. And county facilities will remain open as normally scheduled.
