SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — It was a wet and damp Wednesday afternoon for most of San Diego County as scattered showers swept the region in bursts.

Several mountain areas were also dusted with a little snow.

According to the National Weather Service, periods of rain may continue throughout the day Thursday in some areas.
