New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is one of the most beloved figures in the NFL. He’s done remarkable charity work, and is on his way to a Hall of Fame career. Nobody but Peyton Manning has done better statistically, and it’s very possible that nobody else ever will.

Just how beloved is Brees? You can be the judge. Take a look at this photo spotted at the Greenbier Golf Club in West Virginia. Keep in mind these prestigious clubs usually have to be very serious and can’t joke around.

This golf club is one of the most historic, hosting the 1979 Ryder Cup. There are multiple courses on it, making it a golfer’s heaven, much like St. Andrew’s in beautiful Scotland.

The sign here is just another example of how much people love Brees. As someone who has spent five years at a private golf club, you’ll almost never see this. Like I said earlier, golf clubs don’t have room for fun signs like this and need to be as serious and “professional,” as it comes.

So that’s why it’s great to be Brees. This luxurious club admires him so much that they put a sign on with his name in it.
