Lockheed Martin wins $1.06 billion F-35 contract: Pentagon

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Lockheed Martin Corp has won a $1.06 billion contract for logistics support and sustainment services for F-35 Lightning II aircraft, the Pentagon said in a statement on Tuesday.

Lockheed Martin was also awarded a $427 million modification to a contract for Hellfire II missiles, the statement said.

It also said Navistar Defense LLC, a unit of Navistar International Corp, was awarded a $440 million contract for reset and upgrade of mine-resistant vehicles being sold to the United Arab Emirates.
