Local elections in Georgia are drawing closer. Here’s who’s running in Macon
Macon-Bibb voters will have important decisions to make in this year’s election cycle.
There’s a long list of public offices up for grabs, including U.S. House seats, state legislature seats, the district attorney’s seat, nine county commissioner seats and the sheriff’s seat, though some of the races are uncontested. The May 21 primaries promise to be an important step in narrowing the field.
Below are the candidates who will be on the ballot for each race following the qualifying period earlier this month. Voters can take a look at a comprehensive election calendar, voter registration status and voting precincts on the Georgia Secretary of State’s website.
