Federal prosecutors had prepared Goldman Sachs (GS) CEO Lloyd Blankfein before he gave testimony in a civil insider-trading case by the SEC against Rajat Gupta, reports the Wall Street Journal. According to a partial transcript filed in the case, Blankfein said he met with the lead prosecutor in Gupta's case and other government officials before testifying.
