Liz Cheney coming to speak at The Norfolk Forum

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Liz Cheney is set to be the final speaker for 2023-2024 for The Norfolk Forum at downtown Norfolk’s Chrysler Hall.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, around 7:30 p.m. Single tickets for Liz Cheney’s appearance are $65 each and available via The Norfolk Forum’s website and Ticketmaster.com. Seating is general admission and doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Liz Cheney served as the U.S. representative for Wyoming’s at-large congressional district from 2017 to 2023. She chaired the House Republican Conference from 2019 to 2021.

“Cheney tell the stories of how she arrived at her personal convictions, her remarkable career in Congress, and the road that lies ahead,” The Norfolk Forum said. “Her insight into policy, principled leadership, and the future of bipartisanship is unparalleled.”

Founded in 1933, The Norfolk Forum is the oldest publicly-subscribed speakers’ forum in the country, a release states.
