(WFRV) – The April snowstorm still affecting most of northeast Wisconsin is continuing to drop snow and more snow is expected to be on its way.
Visibility has improved since the last update. Road conditions are still described as wet and slippery. Storm Team 5 has upgraded the snowfall forecast to nine to twelve inches in certain parts of northeast Wisconsin.
Areas toward the lakeshore are expected to be in the six to nine inches of snow realm.

There were some reports of lightning.

Over 40k people across northeast Wisconsin without power amidst April snowstorm

(WFRV) – Snow is continuing to fall all across northeast Wisconsin, and it is affecting travel as well as power outages.
Nearly all roads in northeast Wisconsin are described as slippery, wet or snow-covered. Additionally, WPS and WE Energies are reporting that a combined 40,000+ people are without power.

April snowstorm affecting travel, power outages happening in northeast Wisconsin

(WFRV) – The April snowstorm is starting to pick up and more and more snow is starting to accumulate and road conditions deteriorate.
Roads in northeast Wisconsin have started to get covered in snow. Additionally, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said that there have been 64 accidents on the roadways in just a few hours.
Storm Team 5 says that areas are seeing around an inch-per-hour snowfall. The high wind gusts are expected to come on Wednesday morning.
Power outages from April snowstorm reported throughout northeast Wisconsin
The worst of the snow and wind are yet to come. Lows are expected to fall right around the freezing mark.

(WFRV) – Snow is starting to accumulate as an April snowstorm continues to make its way across northeast Wisconsin.
Road conditions are now getting slippery. Visibility is deteriorating by the minute as more and more snow starts to fall.
Storm Team 5 says that snowfall totals could be lower than expected due to a mix of rain and snow.
Wind gusts could reach up to 50 mph. Early snowfall totals around Green Bay are around one to one and a half inches. The snow is heavy and wet.

April snowstorm making its way through northeast Wisconsin, road conditions starting to deteriorate

(WFRV) – Rain is beginning to turn into snow as a winter storm warning is in effect until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3.
Road conditions are starting to transition into slippery conditions as more and more precipitation begins to fall. Temperatures are in the low to mid-30s.
Storm Team 5 says that the worst of the storm is expected to be between now and Wednesday morning. Gusts of wind could end up hitting 50 mph.
