Stephan Jenkins, front man of the band Third Eye Blind, has just put his impeccable and historic Italianate Victorian home on a charming San Francisco tree-lined street up for sale for $3.6 million, according to Sotheby’s International Realty.

Located on a “walkable block of dreamy Liberty Street,” the 1880 home offers remarkably restored 19th Century craftsmanship “upheld by modern day artisans who have lovingly restored the old, enlivened the new,” according to the offiical property listing.

The listing agent is Daria Saraf of Sotheby’s International Realty – San Francisco Brokerage.

Jenkins bought the 2,300-square-foot home in 2013 for $2.35 million, according to public property records.

The residence at 76 Liberty St. has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms and one partial bathroom.

A ornate gate leads to the home’s striking white facade. Once inside, the property description says, “gorgeous birdseye maple mantle with original beveled inset mirror has been fitted with a lovely gas insert to provide additional warmth and cozy vibes.”

Decked out with modern appliances and tools, the kitchen allows guests to gather at the island or to relax in the breakfast area. Fully retractable doors lead out to an ipe deck and spa, which is private and quiet among a 30-foot screen of pittosporum hedges .

The original set of stairs, “free from creaks after 150 years,” leads to three larger bedrooms and a smaller nursery, office or guest room space, according to the listing. The primary ensuite bedroom presents a single-cut marble shower, double sinks and expansive custom walnut closets.

The floors have radiant heat.

“Greet the pink morning with a cortado on your viewing deck and step back out to celebrate sunset with champagne toasts,” the property listing states. “Radiant heat offers clean and quiet warmth. Lovely lighting throughout ensures your guests and you will feel beautiful day and night.”

The Victorian’s modern touches include space for three large vehicles on the side of the house with an EV charger and an electric-bike charging station in the back yard.

Third Eye Blind, an alternative rock band whose music achieved mainstream status, has sold 12 million records worldwide. One of the group’s biggest hits was “Semi-Charmed Life.”

Jenkins graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a bachelor’s degree in English literature in 1987.
