Obama Says Window for Diplomacy in Iran is Closing

Update (1:25 p.m. EDT): Amid President Barack Obama and U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron's jokes about sports and mutual expressions of solidarity at their joint press conference Wednesday, Obama gave some insight into his stance on Iran, where he said the "window for solving this issue diplomatically is shrinking." It was some of the president's toughest talk yet on Iran, which said he was "determined to prevent from obtaining a nuclear weapon." Obama reiterated that all options were on the table for preventing the country from going nuclear, but he said he preferred to persuade it not to develop a nuclear weapon. "We will do everything we can to solve this diplomatically, but ultimately we’ve got to have someone on the other side of the table who takes this seriously and I hope the Iranian regime will see that this is their best bet.”
