Watch live: Obama talks about housing and answers your questions

President Barack Obama is talking about housing during a Yahoo! town-hall event today at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET.

The president is answering questions submitted by readers. The questions were curated by longtime Yahoo! Homes partner Zillow, whose CEO, Spencer Rascoff, is moderating the discussion.

President Obama did not see the questions before the live discussion began.

In a speech Tuesday in Phoenix, Obama said it is time to wind down the role Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac play in the mortgage market to limit the danger of another devastating housing bubble — and the risk that it could lead to massive government bailouts.
