Live at Midday: Second annual Plummer Home Crawfish Boil kicks off on Saturday, May 18

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Some local and state officials are being turned into celebrity chefs for a day in support of a non-profit that aims to end veteran homelessness.

The second annual Plummer Home Crawfish Boil kicks off on Saturday, May 18 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Uptown Courtyard behind The Loft, Mabella, Salt Cellar and Mix Market.

The event aims to serve Plummer Home’s mission of serving homeless veterans. Some of the celebrity chefs range from our very own mayor to a Las Vegas Raiders player who used to play for the Georgia Bulldogs.

If you’re interested in supporting a local cause and maybe eating some BBQ or Cajun food, you can buy your tickets for Saturday at theplummerhome.org.
