Littleton family displaced, cat required revival after Tuesday morning fire

DENVER (KDVR) — South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a residential structure fire in the 1100 block of West Ida Avenue in Littleton on Tuesday at about 9:41 a.m.

After arriving, firefighters found the fire was in the basement of a duplex.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and determined there wasn’t any major damage to the building, but both units of the duplex sustained smoke damage.

No one was hurt, but the fire left a family displaced from their home.

However, a cat was found that needed to be revived by paramedics. It was reunited with the homeowners and now seems to be doing fine, according to SMFR.
