Little Rock Police Department officer arrested, accused of unauthorized use of state criminal information database

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.  – An officer with the Little Rock Police Department is accused of unapproved access to the state’s criminal information database.

According to the LRPD, Officer Elizabeth Roberson surrendered to police on Wednesday and is accused of unauthorized use of the Arkansas Criminal Information Center (ACIC).

The Department of Public Safety’s website describes the ACIC as the state agency responsible for providing information technology services to law enforcement and other criminal justice agencies in Arkansas.

Authorities said Roberson was relieved of duty on Jan. 5 pending an investigation into the unauthorized access of the ACIC.

Roberson is facing five counts of unauthorized access to the ACIC. LRPD officials said she has been with the department since 2018.
