Little Rock police arrest 17-year-old in connection with December 2023 double homicide case

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock police said that a 17-year-old was arrested for his involvement in a double homicide that happened last December.

According to the Little Rock Police Department, Kevin Mitchell was taken into custody Monday in connection with shootings on West 14th Street on Dec. 20, 2023.

Little Rock residents shocked and want answers after Wednesday night double homicide

Officials said that 20-year-old Modesti Allmon and 21-year-old Dejon Nelms were killed in the shootings.

Mitchell is facing two counts of capital murder.
