‘Little Big Shots’ Sneak Peek: A Case of the Hiccups

A case of the hiccups on national television? Not a problem for 10-year-old King Nahh from Orange, New Jersey.

The motivational speaker — yes, he’s a motivational speaker at the age of 10, so what are you doing with your life? — appears on Little Big Shots Wednesday night. And he’s so charming, that host Steve Harvey jokes, “Do you know that I’m your real daddy?”

But then, things go a little awry when King gets a case of the hiccups. But no problem — he’s got water. Um, but it’s backstage. And when King runs off to fetch it, Harvey can hardly believe what’s going on.

“This is a TV show!” he exclaims, asking a producer to find the boy.

And as the audience giggles, Harvey adds, “This is not my child.”

Along with King, the episode features a talented family of sibling a capella singers from Valdosta, Ga., an incredible young cellist from Goodyear, Ariz., amazing performers from China, and an impressive national gymnastics champion and Olympic hopeful from Erie, Pa.

Little Big Shots airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
