List of Missouri Democratic Party primary in-person voting sites released
ST. LOUIS — Locations for in-person voting sites for the Democratic Party-run presidential primary election on March 23, 2024, have been announced.
The Republican-controlled legislature passed HB 1878 in 2022, abolishing Missouri’s state-run presidential preference primary election and establishing a party-run system. The Missouri Democratic Party opposed this change, with no Democratic legislators voting in favor of the bill, while 120 Republican members supported it.

Republicans held state-wide caucuses last weekend. Former President Donald Trump won in Missouri.
The Democratic Party will conduct an in-person primary on March 23 in every county, with polling places open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Additional polling locations will be available in St. Louis and Kansas City. There is an option to request mail-in ballots, and distribution will begin on February 12. On March 23, the party must receive all ballots by 10 a.m. Republican-affiliated voters are ineligible to receive a ballot.
