Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods might just be proof that it’s possible for exes to remain “just friends.” Though the pair split in 2015, Woods still has Vonn’s support.

After strong play during the weekend, Woods was in the running to win the Valspar Championship on Sunday. As Woods was set to begin play, Vonn let him know she was rooting for him.

Vonn responded to a Tiger Woods Tracker account. It provides constant updates on his performance during events.

None of this should come as a surprise. In January, Vonn said she was still cheering for Woods in an Olympic profile in “Sports Illustrated.” In that article, she said, I hope this latest comeback sticks. I hope he goes back to winning tournaments.”

Woods nearly did that Sunday. He had a chance to force a playoff on the final hole, but came up one shot short. He finished tied for second.

While Vonn has no problem cheering for Woods, he did not send out a similar message about Vonn during the Olympics. In his defense, Woods doesn’t tweet all that often. That didn’t seem to bother Vonn, as she sent her message anyway.

If Woods’ play Sunday was any indication, Vonn might be tweeting about him a lot more moving forward.
