Less than 24 hours after being photographed with her face planted on a Lower East Side, New York City sidewalk, Lindsay Lohan stepped out (and stayed fully upright) on Thursday night at a screening of "Source Code."

The actress - who sported a print dress, black leggings and furry coat - was all smiles for photographers at the New York screening that also had the movie's stars, Jake Gyllenhaal and Michelle Monaghan, in attendance.

She also spoke to TMZ about the incident, saying, "I was NOT drinking, nor do I drink!... I was with my brother, sister and friends. I was making a joke. They're trying to make something out of nothing."

Adding, "Just because I'm out doesn't mean I'm drinking."
