Lindsay Lohan has been in a car accident, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
The actress' father, Michael Lohan, told Access his daughter was in a car wreck on Friday, but was unable to immediately provide further details.
A source close to Lindsay told Access the star was traveling with her assistant at the time of the crash, and that both are "OK."
According toTMZ, which was first to report the accident news, Lindsay wound up in the emergency room following the crash.
The 25-year-old actress was reportedly behind the wheel of her now-totaled black Porshe on Pacific Coast Highway in Los Angeles when the car collided with the back of an 18-wheel truck on Friday, the website reported.
The Santa Monica Fire Department told Access that both Lindsay and her assistant sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported by SMFD ambulance to a local hospital.
The actress is reportedly claiming that the wreck was not her fault, the website reported, as the semi-truck "cut her off."
Lindsay's rep was not immediately available for comment on the reported crash when contacted by Access Hollywood on Friday.
