Limestone Co. Coroner: Body found, sheriff’s office investigating suspicious death

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Limestone County Coroner says the sheriff’s office is investigating a suspicious death after a body was found.

Coroner Mike West told News 19 that the body was found off Newby Road in Athens. The body was sent for autopsy.

‘Grateful for him’: World War 2 Veteran’s remains return home decades later

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is investigating it as a suspicious death, according to West.

India's Election Commission has issued an advisory to all political parties, urging them to refrain from using deepfakes and other forms of misinformation in their social media posts during the country's ongoing general elections. The move comes after the constitutional body faced criticism for not doing enough to combat such campaigns in the world's most populous nation.
