The Queen of Horror breathed her last at the house of her only son Gilmore

22 Aug - The Queen of Philippine Horror, Lilia Cuntapay, has recently breathed her last.

As reported on InterAksyon, the veteran actress, who made the news recently as she pleaded for medical and financial assistance from fans and fellow colleagues, was revealed to have passed away at around 6am at her son's house in Pinili, Ilocos Norte.

The news was confirmed by her granddaughter Elma Cuntapay-Daet, daughter of her only son, Gilmore.

Cuntapay, who was revealed to have stopped working due to spinal cord condition that rendered her disabled, was last seen in several projects, including, "My Bebe Love #KiligPaMore" and the ABS-CBN drama, "Forevermore".

She was 81.
