Lightning recall G Gudlevskis

The Tampa Bay Lightning recalled goaltender Kristers Gudlevskis from the Florida Everblades of the ECHL, the Lightning announced Friday.

Gudlevskis went 27-18 with a .927 save percentage and a 2.09 goals-against average with three shutouts in 56 games last season with HC Riga in Russia's top junior league, the MHL. He also went 1-1 with a .921 save percentage and 2.18 goals-against average in two games with the Riga Dinamo of the KHL, his debut in Europe's top league.

The Latvian has played in 145 career MHL games with HC Riga from 2010-13, registering a .922 save percentage and a 2.21 goals-against average to go with a 69-50 record and 11 shutouts. He has also played in 10 career MHL playoff games.
