Improvement arrives as highs climb into the low 30s Sunday afternoon

TONIGHT: Mostly Clear, Frigid. Lo 14. Winds W 5 mph.

MONDAY: Partly Cloudy, Cold. Hi 38.

TUESDAY: Increasing Clouds, Damp with a Few Showers. Hi 41.

After a sunny day with temperatures near 32°, the winds finally relax through tonight. The clear skies though and calm conditions mean a very cold night is ahead. Lows drop into the mid teens overnight.

Slow but steady warming continues next week, eventually getting us into the 50s by Thursday and Friday. Lows likewise climb into the low 40s by later in the work week. The arrival of rain chances Wednesday through Friday bring will necessitate rain coats as clouds roll in, especially on Thursday. The mild weather should then carry into the weekend as well.
