Lifetime's Menendez Brothers, Michael Jackson movies get air dates

Lifetime has announced air dates for its high-profile Michael Jackson and Menendez Brothers films.

Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland, which tells the story of the iconic pop star through the eyes of his long-time bodyguards, will premiere on May 29 at 8 p.m. ET. Director Dianne Houston’s biopic will show the singer’s dedication to his children and the events that transpired leading up to his death.

Debuting on June 10 at 8 p.m. ET is Menendez: Blood Brothers, a detailed exploration of the murders of Jose and Kitty Menendez at the hands of their sons Lyle and Erik. Courtney Love, Nico Tortorella, Myko Olivier, and Benito Martinez star.

Also landing on Lifetime’s schedule is Story of a Girl, Kyra Sedgwick’s directorial debut. Airing July 23 at 8 p.m. ET, the story of a 13-year-old’s sex video going viral costars Sedwick’s husband Kevin Bacon and daughter Sosie Bacon.

In addition to the aforementioned premiere dates, the network officially announced plans for Flint, starring Cher; Watcher in the Woods from director Melissa Joan Hart and featuring Anjelica Huston; I Am Elizabeth Smart, an authorized telling of the 2002 abduction of a Utah teenager; Model Moms, a reality series following Yolanda Hadid, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and mother to models Gigi and Bella; This Time Next Year, a Cat Deeley-hosted, unscripted series documenting the life-changing transitions of ordinary people.
